About Sedance

Our Mission

Sedance helps creators, marketers, educators, and small teams generate with leading Chinese AI video models without stitching together separate accounts and workflows. The goal is practical creation: clear settings, visible credit costs, and small tests before scaling a campaign.

Sedance is an independent platform and is not affiliated with ByteDance, Kuaishou, Alibaba, or their respective AI products. Model names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Sedance, Seedance, and Official Model Information

“Sedance” is a common search variation of “Seedance.” The Seedance model family is developed by ByteDance's Seed team, which publishes the official model information. Sedance is an independent creation service, not the official Seedance website and not a ByteDance-operated product.

What You Can Create

Use the browser workspace for image-to-video, text-to-video, video-to-video, AI image editing, and text-to-image generation. You can compare models, add reference assets when supported, preview estimated credit usage, and keep finished assets in your creation history.

Credits and Pricing Clarity

The creator shows estimated credit cost before you submit a task. Model choice, duration, resolution, references, and audio can all change the final cost, so we recommend starting with a small run before a larger batch.

Current plans and credit packs are listed on Pricing. The starter one-time pack is designed for users who want to test paid generation without a subscription.

New accounts may receive limited free starter credits when that offer is active. Paid Unlimited plans are still governed by the model access, concurrency, and fair-use limits shown on the pricing page. Sedance does not claim permanent free unlimited generation.

API Availability

API-key management is available for supported integrations, but public Seedance API endpoints can vary by provider and plan. Confirm the current API options in your workspace or with support before building a production integration.

Trust and Support

Paid users can create private generations and export without watermarks where the selected workflow supports it. Plans include commercial-use workflows for generated outputs, while you remain responsible for the rights to uploaded images, videos, audio, logos, people, and brand materials.

2. Compare the estimated credit cost with the current Pricing plans.
3. Start with a small paid run before producing a larger batch.
4. Keep the prompt, task ID, and account email if you need support.
